Pre-Primary Red Day Celebration - 9th July 2025

Red—the colour of love, energy, and joy—filled the Pre-Primary corridors of Amruthaya Central School as our little stars celebrated Red Day on 9th July 2025.

Dressed in charming red attire and holding red-coloured objects, the tiny tots looked vibrant and excited. The day began with a cheerful red-themed environment where everything from balloons to soft boards reflected the colour of the day. The highlight of the celebration was the Montessori red shape activity, where children explored different red geometric shapes like circles, squares, and triangles using tactile Montessori materials. This hands-on experience made learning both fun and meaningful.

The joy didn’t stop there! Children also enjoyed colouring red objects and leaf/vegetable printing using red paint. Apples, roses, and ladybugs came alive through their art, making their creativity bloom. Teachers narrated simple red-themed stories and conducted colour-sorting games that kept the young minds engaged throughout.

The aim of the celebration was to help children identify the colour red, associate it with various objects, and develop fine motor and observation skills in a playful learning environment. It was a joyful, bright, and memorable day for the little ones!

🎭 Fancy Dress Competition – Grades 1 & 2

At Amruthaya Central School, we believe in nurturing creativity and confidence from a young age. Our Fancy Dress Competition for Grades 1 and 2 was a vibrant showcase of imagination, expression, and enthusiasm.

Students came dressed in a wide array of costumes – from inspiring community helpers to imaginative characters from stories, nature, and everyday life. Each child confidently walked the stage, shared a few words in character, and won the hearts of the audience.

This fun-filled event not only encouraged self-expression but also helped develop public speaking skills and stage confidence in our young learners. The joy, excitement, and support from parents and teachers made it a memorable celebration of creativity.

We are proud of our young participants who made this event truly special!

Fireless Cooking Competition

As part of our Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) program at Amruthaya Central School, we conducted an exciting and engaging Fireless Cooking Competition for students from Grades 3 to 7.

This activity aimed to promote creativity, self-reliance, and basic culinary skills among our students—all without the use of fire. Children enthusiastically participated, showcasing their innovative recipes, presentation skills, and teamwork.

It was a delightful blend of learning and fun, where students learned the value of healthy, safe, and independent cooking. Events like these help nurture life skills, confidence, and a sense of accomplishment beyond the classroom.
